With an average annual snowfall of 486 inches–40 feet–and the most modern snowmaking system in Washington, skiers can count on a long and dependable ski season at Crystal Mountain. Crystal also operates one of the most modern lift fleets in the country, including a gondola, two six-pack detachables, two high-speed quads, and five fixed-grip chairs.
Additionally, with over 2,600 acres of terrain, Crystal is nationally renowned for some of the best back-country skiing in North America.

$100 Million Crystal Mountain Expansion Announced
During the next several years, Crystal Mountain will be embarking on a new $100 million expansion that will include a new Mountain Commons redevelopment of the base area facilities headlined by a new 25,000-square-foot lodge, and surrounded by new outdoor space to eat, gather, and enjoy the mountains. Other improvements include the Flying Raven Adventure Course which will allow guests to engage with the mountain in new and exciting ways, a new 14,000-square-foot lodge with an elevated space highlighting the stunning views of Mt. Rainier, a new 100-room hotel with picturesque views and upscale comforts, and an updated transportation plan. Read more.

The resort offers a broad range of fun events, including CMAC Racing programs that develop strong skills and a deep love for the sport, scenic gondola rides to The Summit House (Washington’s highest elevation restaurant), snowshoe tours, live music events, wine tastings, ski and snowboard lessons, and the renowned Snorting Elk Cellar, voted Best Apre’ Ski Bar in North America in 2017!
